1. Lightly mist the coat
For easier brushing, lightly mist the coat with Royal Oodle 2-in-1 Leave-In Conditioner & Detangler to add slip and help reduce friction and pulling.

2. Work in sections
Separate the coat into small, manageable sections. Start low on the body and gradually work your way up.

3. Brush with the Slicker
Gently brush each section from close to the skin through to the ends using controlled strokes. Avoid pulling forcefully through knots or resistance.

4. Check with the Gold Comb
After brushing each section, gently run the Signature Gold Comb from the skin through to the ends. If the comb catches, there may still be a hidden knot or tangle that needs attention.

5. Repeat across the coat
Continue the brush-and-check process across the entire coat, paying extra attention behind the ears, under the legs, around the collar and other areas prone to knotting.

The golden rule: If the comb glides smoothly from skin to ends, that section is done.

Brush. Check. Done.
