Royal Oodle began with Barbie — our much-loved oodle — and a simple realisation: her coat didn’t behave like other dogs.

Despite using products described as “gentle” and “natural”, her curls became harder to manage over time. Brushing increased. Matting became more common. Something wasn’t adding up.

As we looked deeper into grooming for curly coats, a consistent issue emerged. Most dog shampoos and conditioners are designed for short, straight fur — not textured coats that trap residue and magnify friction.

Many rely on film-forming conditioners to create immediate softness. Over time, this build-up disrupts curl structure, increases resistance, and contributes to irritation.

Royal Oodle was created to challenge that approach — not with harsher formulas, but with restraint. We chose to remove heavy coating agents, avoid rinse-resistant residue, and focus on low-friction care designed specifically for high-maintenance curls.

Every Royal Oodle formula is developed with one goal: to protect the integrity of the coat over time — without irritation.
