- Use vague terms like "fragrance" to mask dozens of undisclosed chemicals
- Make unverified claims like "hypoallergenic" or "natural" without any standard definition
- Omit ingredients entirely or list them under trade names that mean nothing to consumers

What's in:
- Hydrolysed wheat protein — a film-forming protein that strengthens hair strands and reduces breakage, ideal for fine Cavoodle coats
- Aloe vera leaf juice — a natural humectant that draws moisture into the coat shaft and soothes sensitive skin
- Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) — penetrates the hair shaft to improve elasticity, reduce frizz, and add softness to curly coats
- Glycerin — conditions and seals the cuticle, keeping curls defined and reducing static
- Chamomile extract — anti-inflammatory, calming for reactive or itchy skin
What's out:
- No sulphates (SLS/SLES) — harsh detergents that strip natural oils and dry out curly coats
- No parabens — synthetic preservatives linked to skin sensitivity
- No artificial fragrance — we use only naturally derived scent ingredients, fully disclosed
- No silicones — coating agents that create short-term shine but build up on curly coats over time
Why This Matters Even More for Oodles
Oodles have hair, not fur meaning product ingredients sit on the coat longer, interact with it differently, and have a greater cumulative effect on coat health. A build-up of silicones or sulphate stripping over time can lead to:
- Dull, frizzy, or brittle curls
